Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL design leaks in full

Expectations are that Google will announce its new flagship smartphones in October, and the rumor mill has done its best to convince us that the Pixel 3 XL will adopt a notch design.

Only last week was the notch confirmed for the XL device after several phone cases emerged on Chinese e-commerce marketplace AliExpress. The Pixel XL 3, which also had a right to renderings showing various colours, has the right to a screen of 6.2 inches.

It's probably going to be about three of four months before Google unveils the Pixel 3 and its XL counterpart to the world. The slimmer side bezels also suggest that it could potentially have an 18:9 aspect ratio, though with an unimpressive screen to body ratio. Other specifications known to us, both the smartphones will feature Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 845 chipsets and will come in 64GB as well as 128GB variants.

Google launched the Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL a year ago at its hardware event on October 4. The smartphone also has dual front-facing speakers, and surprisingly, there also appears to be dual cameras on the front.

Interestingly the renders show both phones rocking a single camera system on the back, though there seem to be two front cameras instead.

Google is nearly set to introduce new Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL.

The dimensions for the Pixel 3 are 145.6 x 68.2 x 7.9 mm.

The renders of the Pixel 3 XL reveal that it houses a notched screen. So, Google is still not interested in dual camera setup and will use its AI software processing for portrait shots. The critically-acclaimed Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL were lauded for their excellent cameras, and there are a lot of expectations from Google for this year's flagships. The rear is pretty familiar to the Pixel 2, barring the minor design tweaks such as the rounded edge of the metal section on the rear panel and the repositioned rear camera sensor. Also like previous year, there's a glass coating at the top of the back of the device, with metal below that.

The Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will roll out in October, Bloomberg claims, and will be a Verizon exclusive in the US.

Otherwise, the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will host a USB Type-C port on the bottom of the phone for charging and will lack 3.5mm headphone jack again this year.
