Whyte-Ortiz Title Eliminator Alleged For July

Dillian Whyte never expected to be fighting Joseph Parker next after a fight with the former WBO heavyweight champion "fell from the sky".

Joseph Parker and Dillian Whyte are, arguably, the two best non-title holders in heavyweight boxing and, so, to see the pair square off when both had other options, is something to look forward to because there will be no lack of aggression in the ring - this will be a proper fight where both men take shots in order to enact their game-plan.

"There's going to be blood, pain and a knockout", said Whyte.

"After Epic Sports won the purse bid for my IBF elimination bout against Dillian Whyte with a bid of $1.5 million, double what Whyte's own promoter, Eddie Hearn [of Matchroom Boxing] bid, I was expecting Whyte and his promoter to run away from the fight, but I didn't expect from them to be such jerks about it", said Pulev of Whyte's decision, as per Boxing Scene.

"He's a good fighter but he didn't show much courage against Joshua, hopefully he'll be a bit more adventurous and come to have a fight against me".

"It's great there's some people in the heavyweight division that are still willing to fight".

More news: What to do if you suspect someone is suicidal

I'm here to fight and I want to fight, and I want to give the fans nights to remember, said Whyte.

Parker was eager to take another major fight in Britain after his unbeaten record was ended by Joshua in Cardiff.

"Beating Parker should nearly guarantee me a World title shot but let's see".

Speaking via press release, Whyte and Parker are both confident in claiming the win and catapulting their themselves back into contention for a rematch with Anthony Joshua. However, the Whyte fight is a great result for Parker, who was desperate for a high-profile, credible, opponent after his disappointing 12-round defeat to Joshua. First of all I never refused and I still want to fight with you! "But, hey, if Hearn is misleading you somehow, let me tell you personally - I'm here and ready to beat your delusional ass back to reality".

Apart from being a popular fight in terms of likely television pay per views, a victory for Parker would send him back up the rankings which is his main goal now.
