These Lethal Weapon Fans Really Aren't Here for Clayne Crawford's Replacement

Getting back to the show, FOX has officially ordered a third season of the hit action-drama, that renewal confirmation came from Michael Thorn, President, Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company.

The news comes days after Crawford was sacked from the Fox drama following bad behavior on set. One we've been keen to hear news about is whether Lethal Weapon was going to get a season 3 or not. "'Lethal Weapon' is packed with action, drama and pure fun and we can't wait to see Damon and Seann together on screen".

Lethal Weapon will return for Season 3 on Fox next season.

Even though ITV has yet to broadcast the season two finale, the internet is full of spoilers, and if you wish to remain spoiler free, this is your last chance to stop reading.

Crawford also seemed to have the support of many of his fellow cast members. "I an incredibly sorry if my passion for doing good work has ever made anyone feel less than comfortable on our set, or feel less than celebrated for their efforts". Here's the tweet from the official Lethal Weapon Twitter confirming the renewal.

Clayne had been disciplined twice for poor behaviour, both incidences saw him reacting with anger to situations which led to him seeking therapy and, on one occasion, donate a portion of his pay packet to the other party. With Scott replacing Crawford, the show won't have to figure out whether Lethal Weapon could continue without a Riggs, and will give it a go with Scott being a maniac with a badge.

Deadline reports that Scott likely won't be stepping right into the role of Riggs (as portrayed by Mel Gibson in the original film series) but will likely instead be portraying Rigg's brother.

Days after multiple outlets, including THR, reported that Crawford had been fired from the series, the actor posted multiple messages on his verified social media accounts indicating that he had yet to be informed of his future on Lethal Weapon.
