Childish Gambino Visits 'A Kanye Place' in Funny 'SNL' Sketch

Childish Gambino Visits 'A Kanye Place' in Funny 'SNL' Sketch

Childish Gambino aka Donald Glover shows off his fit body going shirtless for his performance on Saturday Night Live on tonight's (May 5) episode! "I'll say it - turn out was a little low", Glover quipped as Lando.

Content Warning: The music video for "This is America" contains sensitive material that viewers may find distressing. The exceptions, like the undeniable talent of Eddie Murphy or the unprecedented tenure of Kenan Thompson, are extremely rare. The two often collaborate on Glover's hit FX series, "Atlanta", now in its second season.

In the video, Glover shoots a hooded black man and mows down a choir with a machine gun. Glover was best in pre-recorded skits like "Friendos", a Migos send-up that found the kings of trap rapping with deadpan glee about group therapy.

Lando's Summit - Glover plays his "Solo" character Lando Calrissian in this skit to mock Star Wars' lack of diversity. It's a small gathering and it is representative of the number of black people that have appeared in Star Wars to this point.

A Kanye Place - This "SNL" skit riffs on "A Quiet Place", the movie where no one can make noise without fear of a deadly monster.

Although he was on hosting duties last night on SNL, Donald Glover was also there under his alter-ego / pseudonym / whatever, Childish Gambino.

It marks his first new material since 2016's Grammy-nominated album 'Awaken My Love!'. My Child, was rap-less and funky.

Throughout the video, Glover is dancing with boys and girls dressed in school uniforms, seemingly smiling, laughing and having a good time.

. This is just bananas, but any child of the 80's who remembers Oran "Juice" Jones and his freaky hit single "The Rain" will enjoy Glover as Raz P. Berry trying to stalk Cecily Tyson and seduce her with his Pee.
