Sean Hannity Defends Investments in Low-Income Housing

Now, as The Guardian has uncovered, Sean Hannity is the owner of nearly 900 homes worth $90 million.

It is not just conservative commentary that talk show host and Fox News anchor Sean Hannity is good at. At the request of US District Judge Kimba Wood last Monday, Cohen's attorneys disclosed in court that Hannity was the third client of Cohen's from the past year.

Michael Avenatti, the lawyer for adult film actress Stormy Daniels who is now suing President Donald Trump and his lawyer Michael Cohen, said Sunday that Hannity's work with Cohen was likely "far more extensive" than the conservative media personality has let on. Dozens were purchased at a discount in 2013 after banks foreclosed on previous owners amid the financial crisis.

Fitton, a frequent guest of Hannity's on the Fox News Channel, questioned the timing of the story by Jon Swaine, titled "Michael Cohen case shines light on Sean Hannity's real estate empire", and its revelation of the radio and television host's private information in the wake of the raid on Michael Cohen.

"I have never discussed with anybody at HUD the original loans that were obtained in the Obama years, nor the subsequent refinance of such loans, as they are a private matter", Hannity said. "I can say that every rigorous process and strict standard of improvement requirements were followed; all were met, fulfilled and inspected", he said in the statement.

The Guardian report comes days after it emerged Hannity is a client of Michael Cohen, Trump's longtime lawyer and fixer.

Records show that Hannity used multiple LLCs to build a real estate portfolio with at least 877 residential units that he bought for a total of almost $89 million, the Guardian reported. "Mr. Hannity is no different". HANNITY did not disclose his relationship with HUD when he praised HUD Secretary Dr. Hannity is the hidden owner behind some of the shell companies and his attorney did not dispute that he owns all of them.

Perhaps that's why Fox News is now acting as Hannity's PR agent.

"Appearing on CNN's Reliable Sources, the attorney for adult actress Stormy Daniels took one of his daily shots at legal nemesis Michael Cohen, mocking him as a "$10 attorney", and speculating that he has a deeper relationship with Fox News personality Sean Hanni try that has been revealed so far.
