Stop Everything: Kate Middleton To Give Birth Any Day Now!

As for the baby's gender, the palace will not announce that news until after the child is born, per tradition.

The countdown's begun! Kensington Palace has revealed a major sign - literally - that proves Kate could give birth any day now!

People reports that before Prince George's birth, there were ladders across the road from the hospital for the three weeks before Middleton gave birth. A little more - and the paparazzi along with fans will start to be on duty at the clinic, counting the days to the momentous event in the Royal family.

Crowd barriers are erected opposite the private Lindo Wing of St Mary's Hospital.

Royal watchers are buzzing with anticipation that Prince William and his wife Kate's third baby is due any day now, after the hospital where the couple's first two children were born offered some new clues.

As Us Weekly previously reported, the private hospital wing was opened by the late Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother in 1937.

Where will the baby be born?

Perks of royalty? Not having to deal with finding a parking spot when driving your wife to the hospital after she goes into labor!

The British Monarchy also released a statement on its Facebook page, which said confirmed Prince William was there for the birth along with other formalities. But they'll only be able to stand outside of the famous Lindo ward door once they've been given the all clear from Kensington Palace officials. Note that in the past the bookies already have gotten to the truth: the names of the older children of the couple, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, were among the favorites.

Consultant obstetrician Guy Thorpe-Beeston and consultant gynaecologist Alan Farthing will be again involved after helping to deliver Kate's previous children. Then, photographers, reporters, and television crews can set up. The baby's sex is also a secret - even to the Duke and Duchess, who chose not to find out if they were expecting a boy or a girl.

The couple are said to be hugely grateful for the warm wishes they have received from United Kingdom fans and those across the globe since Kate's pregnancy announcement previous year.
