Marvel and the Avengers Attractions Are Coming to Disney Parks

Iron Man and the rest of the Avengers will partner with guests for a "hyper-kinetic adventure" that will also open in 2020.

At Disneyland Resort, the new themed land will be anchored by the popular Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT! at Disney California Adventure park, which has become the highest-rated attraction at Disneyland Resort since its 2017 opening.

Guests will soon be invited to take part in Avengers and Marvel experiences at Disneyland Resort, Disneyland Paris, and Hong Kong Disneyland. The Guardians of the Galaxy will be joined by Spider-Man and the Avengers in what will become a completely immersive Super Hero universe, furthering the evolution of Disney California Adventure park.

Spider-Man, Black Panther, and Doctor Strange are among the characters teased for the new Marvel land area at Disneyland. These lands are being created in a partnership between Disney, Marvel Themed Entertainment, and Marvel Studios even though they are all under the same company banner.

In California, the park will be built in the space now occupied by the "A Bug's Land" attraction, next to the Guardians of the Galaxy attraction.

Disney Parks announced Tuesday that a Marvel-themed land will be coming to Disneyland in 2020. To accommodate the incoming attractions, "a bug's land." is set to close this summer, with "It's Tough to Be a Bug" already shuttering. The area will shut down for the summer to build the new attraction.

Now Disney will be putting Marvel's superhero characters to work at its parks in Anaheim, Paris and Hong Kong, according to Variety. Guests will team up with Ant-Man and The Wasp for an exciting new attraction, which will join the existing Iron Man Experience that opened in 2017.
