Justin Timberlake announces release date for fifth album

"This album is really inspired by my son, my wife, my family, but more so than any other album I've written, where I'm from".

Hours after unveiling the nature-filled trailer that teases the Pharrell-deemed "earthy" album, Timberlake posted a split image of himself half in a suit and half in jeans and a flannel.

But that's not all.

As soon as new album speculation began, Pharrell Williams was rumored to be part of Timberlake's next project - which would mark the first time Pharrell has worked on a JT album since producing half of his 2002 solo debut Justified with The Neptunes.

Timberlake is set to play the Super Bowl Halftime Show two days after Man of the Woods sees release.

With artists like Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato losing their grip on the charts, it's clear we've needed a return to when pop was best, when '90s legends Britney, Christina and, obviously, Justin Timberlake were at their peak.

Look, Justin, we've known you for a while now, and you're for sure not a "man of the woods". If Timberlake isn't eaten by a bear midway through the album, I'm going to be very disappointed by his effort.

In September 2016 in an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Timberlake mentioned that he was back in the studio. He also said the music on this album will showcase his roots of growing up in the south and listening to country music.

This will be the actor's first appearance at the Super Bowl since his 2004 halftime performance with Janet Jackson, which no one could ever forget. What do you think of him trading his "Rock Your Body" moves for mountains and streams?
