If you are a new customer, you need to pay Rs. 229 to be eligible for unlimited local and STD calls with 28 days validity.

On the other hand, Vodafone's Red postpaid plans are aimed at customers who have heavy calling demands. "We are delighted to announce the launch of our new plan, that we believe, will help our customers remain connected, both through voice and data, in a completely worry free manner". But Vodafone falls short of Reliance Jio though as the new entrant is offering 1.2GB data per day for the same price.

Under the new plans, users will get 1.2GB and 2GB 4G data respectively with a validity of 28 days.

Now the company has announced the surprise cashback up to Rs 3,300 on recharge of Rs 399. Local, STD and roaming calls are free and unlimited. A Reliance Jio statement said the cashback will be in the form of Rs 400 MyJio cashback vouchers, up to Rs 300 instant cashback vouchers from wallets and up to Rs 2,600 discount vouchers from e-commerce players.

Airtel and Idea Cellular customers can also avail similar benefits for Rs 199 as the operators have added benefits to their respective plans. All plans of Jio comes with unlimited data usage after the daily data limit usage is over. The validity of this prepaid recharge plan is 84 days. Vodafone India is the new operator to join the list of operators revising the entry-level Rs 199 tariff plan for prepaid users. The daily 4G data limit is 2GB. Apart from this, customers are also offered free local and STD voice calls, 100 local and national SMS per day, and, free outgoing calls on roaming. However, new customers will have to shell out Rs. 229 to get the above benefits for 28 days.

Vodafone's Rs 199 tariff plan now gives 1GB data per day for 28 days, which makes it 28GB data for the entire month.
