NBC Is Really Trying to Bring Back 'The Office' in 2018

According to a report from TVLine, NBC is set to revive The Office for the 2018-2019 TV season.

"We often talk about 'The Office, '" Greenblatt told the publication.

Fans of The Office get excited: NBC is reportedly planning to revive your favourite show.

"It's always, 'Maybe someday, but not now". "That's what she said!"

However, considering that Dwight actually owns the Dunder Mifflin's Scranton branch building, don't be surprised to see him back in the mix pretty heavily. "And if he were to be in charge of it, I can't imagine that I wouldn't want to help out in some way, or write, and I feel like probably the rest of the cast feels the same".

However, as reported by TV Line, sources have confirmed that a revival of The Office is now in full swing.

Executive produced by Greg Daniels, the original NBC series The Office, based on the British show of the same name, ran from 2005 to 2013. Additionally, John Krasinski is now working with Amazon Studios for their new Jack Ryan series, so he too seems an unlikely returning cast member.

But so far, all we know is that NBC is taking the first steps to bringing the show back, no doubt encouraged by the critical and financial success of the revival of Will and Grace. The show - which made stars out of Carell, Rainn Wilson, John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer, Craig Robinson, Ellie Kemper and Mindy Kaling, among others - was an awards-season staple, taking home multiple Emmys, Golden Globes and other top prizes.
