Summer Rae Released from WWE Contract

Summer Rae (Right) refuses to let the WWE release bring her spirits downWhat's the story?

Emma, Summer Rae and Darren Young have been released by the WWE. She had a successful tenure in NXT before being promoted to the main roster where she teamed with Santino Marella.

WWE have announced that superstar Emma has been released by the company as the announced.

A former defensive back in the all-female Lingerie Football League, Summer Rae signed a developmental deal with WWE in 2011, and debuted on the main roster in 2013, as the valet/dance partner of Fandango.

The 28-year-old, whose real name is Tenille Dashwood, had a rocky stint in WWE after becoming a fan favorite in NXT.

Of those three, Emma is probably the most surprising.

After formally appearing with the WWE as a component of a vital Nexus attack of Monday Night Raw, the zenith of Young's WWE vocation happened on June 14, 2015, when he and label group accomplice Titus O'Neil, referred to on the whole as the Prime Time Players, caught the WWE label group titles at the Money in the Bank pay-per-see.

There hasn't been much word on what led to her release, Pro Wrestling Sheet's Ryan Satin reported. Her latest run post-injury and post-Emmalina (who thought of that one, again?) wasn't memorable in terms of accolades, but Emma proved that she can play any character and was as entertaining as ever.

Her time with WWE has not been an easy one, however, with a July 2014 release due to a shoplifting arrest being reversed 24 hours later.

Young made his WWE debut in 2010 on NXT and had former WWE superstar CM Punk as his "mentor". Also a model by profession, she was indeed busy furthering her career in show-business whilst rehabilitating her injuries.
